Strike rate is a hit rate
Strike rate is the percentage of settled bets that win. It tells you frequency, not profitability by itself.
Odds change the break-even rate
Shorter-priced bets need a higher strike rate to break even than longer-priced bets. That is why win percentage should never be read without price.
Compare like with like
A correct-score service and a short-odds favorites service can have radically different strike rates and still need separate profitability analysis.
